Lions of Rabelais, still answering the roll.
“True as steel, in our zeal, for the honour of our school.”
Between 1978 and 1983, 61 Red Hills Road was home away from home. Calabar High School was the cradle of our adolescence. The green and black nurtured, moulded, and prepared us for the world beyond the gates.
More than forty years later, the Class of 1983 reconnects to reminisce, support one another, and pass the baton forward for classmates, current Lions, and the school that made us.
We begin each reunion week as another leg of a relay that proves we remain true as steel in our zeal for the honour of Calabar. We, the COBA Class of '83, still say “Here Sir!”
